Raphael, surely the finest of the turtles. Followed closely by Leonardo in my book, cos, katanas. I gave myself a 15 min limit on this one, partly cos I'm busy, but mostly cos, y'know, sketchblog.
Raphael was clearly the best of the turtles. I like the pose a lot on this. I also like how you wrote 'Ninja' on it, the way you would have done when you were fourteen.
That song wasn't altogether accurate, as he wasn't really that rude. He was funny though; that's why he was my favourite. Leonardo was too square and Michaelangelo really annoyed me.
"Cool but Crude" is what I thought the lyrics were? (You have personally achieved only 50% of said equation, Stephen.) Nice stuff for a fifteen minute piece - mine'd still be scribbles and scrawls waiting for a shape to be put on it by that point. "NINJA!!!!!!" indeed. Pose is top-notch.
I used to be a Leo guy, but flip-flopped onto Raph after reading the Mirage books.
Looked it up, it's 'rude' not 'crude'. You were obviously a tad more verbose than the average 12 year old. That said you had the hearing of a 70 year old.
I liked Leonardo...but that's just cos I like to be charge. I also thought it was crude when I was younger! Nice work honey...I could have drawn the NINJA bit for ya if you'd liked.. x
I was just joking...the only thing I've ever drawn for you was a tracing of AH. Thompson...re-runs and older siblings, plus yeah they are stilling going on!

ReplyDeleteOh, Yeah. :D I keep calling them Hero Turtles as the name Ninja was banned in Britain, due to crackdowns on nunchucks and sword-ownership. D:
