Bit late tonight but here's a quick headshot of Dredd. One of my favourite comic book costumes ever, it's just so over the top and ornamental it shouldn't work, but it really does. It makes him a bitch to draw, especially from awkward angles but it's such an iconic look.
Very nice. I do think all the texture effects on the various surfaces can get a little busy sometimes, a tad overcooked if you will.

ReplyDeleteI like it and think the textures are spot on to be honest.the texture on his helmet makes it look well worn! I await the sexual innuendo from that comment!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid there was this motorcycle Garda that used to chug around on his old CX500 down the Malahide road and I sware he was the image of Dredd,huge unfeasable chin etc (except he had a moustache).
Dredd hates Judges with facial hair though.
