Even on a blog like this is says 'Akira by Stephen Thompson' at the top. I can't think of a situation where someone will see a piece of your work and there'll be no credit anywhere. Plus most people's signatures are unreadable anyway. I don't think I've ever found out a new artist's name from reading their signature even once, I've always referred to the credits or to the information on the blog I've found it on or whatever.Stephen Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13159940664827218221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21349380346448478.post-26038428956806242422010-11-12T10:09:11.807+00:002010-11-12T10:09:11.807+00:00Fair enough Thompson, but how would the common fan...Fair enough Thompson, but how would the common fan associate the work with you then? And before you say it, most people can't simply recognise any artist by their style. Every one of your favourite artists signs their stuff.<br />You're even worse at selling yourself than I am, and that's saying something.Stephen Mooneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15836431935192025347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21349380346448478.post-31641619315182279262010-11-12T08:08:37.429+00:002010-11-12T08:08:37.429+00:00Ha! And as a side note I appreciate and share your philosophy of signatures on comic art. Nothing takes me out of continuity in a story like a big old signature.Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04140996920838605221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21349380346448478.post-24295815410197710722010-11-11T23:28:30.792+00:002010-11-11T23:28:30.792+00:00This is deadly.
