The Sweedish Murder Machine

I know Mooney did a Brock Sampson recently, but when I came to draw a Venture Bros. piece I couldn't bring myself to do anyone else. He is the man. Maybe I'll pick a more obscure character from the show for next week.

Deadly. Loads of energy and power!

Lovely stuff. Getting some nice, Sienkiewicz-esque touches in there. How long does something like this take with MS? I realize its just a head-shot, but is it a lot quicker comparatively speaking then penciling and inking something(quick and sketchy)?

I suppose something like this wouldn't be any quicker with MS as I wouldn't have pencilled this if I was drawing it physically, just gone straight to ink. Where MS saves me time is not having to pencil at all, just go straight to inks with the option to undo if I need it. Also not having to re-draw something if it's out of proportion or in the wrong place, just resize or move it.

Yeah, I thought as much. Seeing the resulting improvements to Will's after using MS had intrigued me, but I'm still waaay off contemplating giving up the old pencil and page. Can't deny that you're getting some lovely results with the program though.
You using the wacom or cintique primarily?

Oh it's all Cintiq. I never really got the hang of drawing on a Wacom tablet, it's fine for adjustments but I hate the seperation of the surface you're drawing on and the screen.

Yeah, that's a big hindrance for me too. Maybe I'd prefer the cintiq. All mere speculation though...

That's class Thompson.

I'm dying to do a Brock Samson myself (have an image in mind) but i'm gonna hold for a while since you just did one and Mooney did one recently.

I definitely have a Brock in me.... wait.... that's not right....
