Impactor

And so cometh the end of our Eclectic Wrecks week...and slightly later than I would have liked! Sorry chaps, but YOU try getting rid of Declan Shalvey from your house...

Anyway, here's the once and former leader of The Wreckers, Impactor. Pointy.

Guys, BIG thanks to every Mick one of you for raising the quality to a stratospheric level this week. Not a dud one amongst you, which is probably why mine looks a little cobbled together. plus, I have the rest of the miniseries to finish. But I think the week was a great success; we got attention from a few other websites and I believe our stats nudged up a bit too. Hopefully all the Wrecktums that stopped by to check in on us will stick around. And I have no doubt that this little exercise helped shift a few copies and helped the book sell out in a couple of spots, not least Forbidden Planet Dublin. So congrats, Mick-holes.

And to everyone else who's bought and enjoyed Last Stand of the Wreckers, I send a rare sincere wodge of love your way. The reaction's been phenomenally positive, and that's rare in comics, and especially in robo-circles. Stick with us over the next four issues: The set-ups and pay-offs are many and awesome.

Mick 'n' Rule!

I haven't read Transformers for a while but the first issue was great. I'm looking forward to issue 2 and will be seeking out the Maximum Dinobots trade.

Savage pic Nick, have no idea how you achieved the old-skool 'charcoal' type look.

Great week all-in-all, really enjoyed it as an exercise. We should do more of these theme weeks, maybe we should do it again for A-Team 1 next month...

I'm down with that! You'd provide the assignments, obviously?

Hell Yeah. A-Team week

I would be more than willing to do another themed week, given notice. A-team sounds cool too.

Oh, sorry, really like how your piece turned out Nick; really different take that i wasn't expecting. Way to keep me on my toes.

A-Team week would be great. I like the themes, it gives the site a bit more structure. Are we talking movie A-Team or Classic A-Team?

Stephen Mooney said...

Well the book is the new version of the team, so maybe we should tackle those guys... but that said, if people really wanna draw the classics then thats cool too. Maybe a high-larious scenario of old meeting new? The two BA's pitying the same hapless fool perhaps? Course I'd never do that, cos lets face it, twice the work

Hell yeah! I think you guys should do the A-Team :)

How about some Ghostbusters at some point as well ;)

Excellent work Nick Glad to see you kept the best for yourself.

Cheers for the Lads for bending to your Will for the week.
Job well done.

And Congrates on the Wreckers Selling out Mate.
