Brushpen doodle

Nothing too spectacular this week, just me practising with a brush. I find it quite difficult relinquishing the control that pens give me, but it's kind of hard to deny that you get a much livelier line with a brushtip. So some random chickadee with an eyepatch. Why's she wearing an eyepatch? What'm I, a doctor?

Wait, maybe it's eyepatch week on the blog.

Maybe she's going to Niamh's pirate themed hen? Buns of steel Fran!

You guys are gonna get me in trouble with the 'careful now, down with that sort of thing' types again. If it's any consolation, I also draw the fellas with ridiculously muscly and bulbous rumps. I'm an equal-opportunity exploiter.

I think there should be a hunky dory's ad week on the blog!

Doesn't look like you've really lost any control in the line by using a brushpen, but it's definitely added a lot more life to your drawing. Apart from Nick Fury and Donovan Conrad I can't think of any more eyepatch characters in comics. This the kind of as you were taking about Jac? http://www.politics.ie/environment/128827-tits-arse-hunky-dory-ads-13.html

Considering they're called HUNKY Dorys you think they'd put muscular dudes in the ads and pitch them at women.

I know I'd buy them.
