I do love that film and this version of the character. Great to see him done so well. Do you have a copy of the score? I 'acquired' it recently; it really is one of the great forgotten adventure soundtracks, full of all that Williams-esque pomp and circumstance. Makes Wednesday mornings all widescreen and epic. Geddit.
Nick, I know that score off by heart. BONNNNNNNNGGG DUN DAN DAN DUN DAAAAAA (Thats the cosmic key) The new movie is back on track for being made apparently
Yeah, I thought I was wasting my typing by asking you! I remembered so much from watching it loads as a kid, but it's actually a lot stronger than I recalled. Maybe a little derivative, but pretty much a perfect example of its genre.
Great to see you still doing your 80a Action series anyway, homes.
Eclectic Micks are a collection of Irish professional comic book artists. They include Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger), Stephen Thompson (Star Trek; New Frontier, Presidential Material: John McCain), Len O'Grady (Smoke, Ares) Nick Roche (Transformers, Doctor Who), Will Sliney (Star Wars, Farscape), Bob Byrne (Mr. Amperduke, 2000AD), Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later) and Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells)
Every day there will be a sketch posted here, each artist posting on a certain day. Enjoy

I've been trying to get a copy of the old movie. No joy. John Byrne always says it's the closet we're gonna get to a New Gods movie.
