When starting my series of covers for 'Betrayal of The Planet Of The Apes', I brainstormed some rough ideas. I ended up using most of them for the final covers; there was another idea that I was even able rework for one of my covers for the following 'Exile' series. Above were the rough ideas that never went anywhere. The last idea I deliberately didn't hand in to the Apes team, as I realised I had accidently rehashed an old cover of mine. Glad I caught that.Dec.

Love the ape skull idea. Heck, like em all. I, unlike you, would have zero compunctions about re-hashing an old cover.
