Shadow Sketch Saturday

I feel I've been hoodwinked - I was invited to this blog little realising it required ACTUAL effort. Well, the hell with you guys... here's some shadow sketches...

How you did those sketches? Do you mind teaching me?

Lovely stuff PJ, really like the bits of blue you put on the first lot of sketches, gives them an old-timey look. Plus three pages worth! You could've dragged that out over three weeks.

The hell with YOU PJ, i wish we'd never invited you..... 3 Pages?! You've upped the ante. Now I've gotta try harder.

They're all lovely. I really like how you blocked in your blacks on his coat in the last one.

Man... good hustle PJ, these are class, my favourite stuff on here so far. That first model-sheet type page of sketches is excellent. Although three pages? What're you tryin to do fer chrissakes...
I felt bad enough about my total lack of effort as it was,,,
sigh

My personal mantra is 'Quantity over Qualitity'. Although, frankly, I'm happy with any kind of 'tity' (snigger)

@Joyce - not sure if there's anything I can teach - I picked up a pen and scribbled some "Shadow" drawings (something I was having a bit of a mental block with - which is why there's so many of them...) as a rule if you want to learn to draw all you have to do is draw - a LOT and try not to get too complacent over your own artwork - no matter what your friends tell you ...

Jesus Christ PJ. That thumbnail with the water tower just dumps on my entire portfolio. No posting good artwork for a while to give me and Dec a chance.

Really like the first one as it looks like practice for the second. The second is my fave.
