Man i love The Venture Brother cartoon. Just got Season One on DVD (thanks Mooney) and thought i'd celebrate with a drawing of my favourite character on the show: The Monarch.

This is so weird... I spent yesterday evening watching season one for the first time in ages and now this! Timing...
And dear lord, what a show. It's really interesting going back and seeing the beginnings when all was initially fantastic, but not quite as tight as it came to be.

Heh, that is my favourite line from the entire series. That and the Monarch prison speech at the end of season one.
Kev; yeah, it's finally out over here. Lovely looking dvd box with sienkiewicz artwork too.
Mooney; Yeah, the first season is a little 'stiffer' i guess, the first episodes especially. I think it really comes into its own by season'e end. Glad you like the red. Did the usual grey-wash but it needed to be a bit more dramatic.

I still haven't watched any venture brothers. but I like this picture!
All this Venture Bros stuff leaves me as baffled as the soccer conversations. Needless to say, you win a Community Games Medal for yon drawing, Dex-Mex. Very nice indeed.
