Oh man. As soon as I saw this on the schedule I nearly plotzed myself I was so damned excited. I think i saw Akira when I was 11 or 12 and my mind grew by two sizes.
Great pose and awesome color choices. the red of his jacket and bike really pop against that blue background. The whole thing feels sweet like candy. Which to me is something that movie seemed to play a lot with; juxtaposing the sleek futuristic technology with the ugliness of society and man. Maybe I was reading too much into it. Either way, fucking awesome work this week.

Nice! I heartily endorse this. You even put the pill embroidered on the back of his jacket.
Yep, I did actual research. Still a great, great movie and manga. And as predicted, I drew the heroic type on his steed.

Can't wait to see more from you fellas!
You gotta watch that, William. Minds growing unchecked is a sure sign of unbridled and uncontrollable psychic powers manifesting.

This is one of my favorites of the theme week pieces that you've done. Very nice! Class.
Makes me want to watch it again...I think I will.
Great job dude!!
Cheers guys!
Nice piece man; it shows it's a cool design when the back of the bike looks cooler than the front.
