UNCANNY X-FORCE

Apologies for breaking this week's theme; I just have no idea what a Robotech is and have no interest in finding out, sorry.

I'm on a mad X-buzz after reading the first 4 issues of Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender and Jerome Opeña. It's bloody brilliant. I've lost track of what's happening in the X-world of late, but this is a great series that you can just pick up without having to know everything that's going on elsewhere.

Anyway; i really wanted to do an Uncanny X-Force piece this week. Sorry Mr. Robotech!

Dec.

I for one am very happy with this theme break, excellent piece Dec, Uncanny X-Force is one of the best comics to come out of many terrible storylines from these big change everything story arcs. Nice to see your take on these characters. No harm in a theme break if the result is this good.

And in a couple of hours Dec will be receiving his pink slip from the Micks, for his unforgivable sin of breaking the theme of the week.

Even though you broke the theme in the most awesome way possible. That's life Dec you gotta follow the rules and do some research :p

Damn, someone's gone Hollywood, ha. Declan's going to be pushing the Marvel line constantly now, it would appear.

And it have it no other way. Look forward to your next Thunderbolts issue but even more now hope you get a stint on Uncanny X-Force!

h thanks a lot guys; appreciate it. Haven't been happy with my Micks stuff in the last while so i really put the work in with this one.

Mooney; i was actually tweaking this layout in my sketchbook for weeks, so i'm glad you think it works.

Ricardo; the Micjs don't do pink slips... we do green slips.

Ryan; i'd LOVE to do a stint on the book. That'd be amazing. Not likely though :)

PS; everyone should check out Jason Latour's work. It's deadly.

I feel cheated and rewarded at the same time. Great job. And thanks for the heads-up on the book too. I'd love to find something new to read.
