One criticism; cuz all the objects are the same line-weight it's a little hard to make them all out individually. If i didn't already know what Bobba Fett looked like, i'd think he has some extreme shoulder pads.
Ah, my favouite of all Fetts. Nice Angle Will, very dramatic. I hate to agree with Dec(seriously) but some nice fat lines on the foreground plane would break this badboy up a little, give it that much more oomph.
Ah the power of editing blogs. I added it in and kinda disagree with ye. Did you think the probe droids were his shoulder pads or something Dec? I plan on coloring this one with a nice Cloud City type colour scheme with the droids and Slave one having lighter tones and colour holds to fade them back
I would have made the lines of the background images thinner, rather than a thicker line around Fett, but yeah, it does look clearer. Maybe a bit thinner than how you have it.
I didn't think they WERE his shoulder pads, but they looked like they could be. When their line weights are the same as the foreground character, you'd naturally assume they're instead right beside him. With work as clean as yours, you def need to establish stuff like that clearly. I think, at least.
That was quick! If you prefer it without the thicker lines then maybe you should leave as is? I mean, I think they help to an extent, but you should leave up the version yer happier with.
Nah its cool, I plan on maybe workin on it in a sample or something in the future. Would love to spend more time on it now but the oul deadlines and social life wont allow too much time to play with me Micks
Oooh I like Boba & the background (although I do agree that boba does blend with the background a little, almost like they're on the same level?) But fantastic otherwise :)
Eclectic Micks are a collection of Irish professional comic book artists. They include Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger), Stephen Thompson (Star Trek; New Frontier, Presidential Material: John McCain), Len O'Grady (Smoke, Ares) Nick Roche (Transformers, Doctor Who), Will Sliney (Star Wars, Farscape), Bob Byrne (Mr. Amperduke, 2000AD), Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later) and Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells)
Every day there will be a sketch posted here, each artist posting on a certain day. Enjoy

Meh
My favourite of Will's so far. Fett is just a great character design.
Nice Will. Boba Fett is probably the only decent thing to come out of that Star Wars mess.
