Bad Suit

Old-timey guy, drawn with Manga Studio and coloured with Photoshop.

Gorgon

I think this was supposed to be Gorgon, from an old, unfinished Inhumans sample.

Zombie Warrior

I was going through old sketchbooks, and I found this zombie warrior sketch from more than twelve years ago. His face seems to have fared much worse than his body for some reason...

Ninth Assassin designs

These were the final two assassin designs I submitted for the 'Darth Vader and The Ninth Assassin' series. They went with the second one in the end.

The Manhattan Projects

I read the first three volumes of Jonathan Hickman and Nick Pitarra's 'The Manhattan Projects' recently. It's excellent stuff with a really bold look thanks to Pitarra and a very strong colour design by Jordie Bellaire (a little of which I tried to use in this shot). This is their alternate-universe version of Nazi rocket scientist Wernher von Braun.

Creature Design

Bit of creature design for the book I'm doing at the moment. I normally don't have time to do many designs in advance and I just end up winging it on the page, but the cover artist needed it for reference.

Star Wars

Here's a minor character design I did for the Star Wars book I'm drawing right now. His blaster is based on one of the Jawa's guns and his pants clearly came from Boba Fett's wardrobe.

Snippet

This little guy is probably my favourite thing I've drawn today.

Barrowmaze

Here's one of the illustrations I did for Greg Gillespie's Barrowmaze RPG. These were a lot of fun.

Spaceman

Here's a rejected design for a book I'm working on at the moment.

Dark Avengers

I was sick earlier in the week so I didn't get a chance to do a piece for Dec's revamped Dark Avengers book (out now kids!), so I thought I'd throw mine up today. Obviously based on the poster for the Avengers movie that everybody seems to be gaga about. Pencil with PS colours.

Photoshop Face 134

Here's another random Photoshop doodle.  I wish I could just draw faces for a living. Sketchy, cartoony faces.

Redhead

Good old pen and ink on bristol board with Photoshop CS colours.

Sneaky peek 3

Here's a panel from my creator owned comic that was no fun at all to draw. Artist-me hates writer-me sometimes.

Sneaky peek 2

Another little tease from my creator owned book. High octane stuff.

Sneaky peek

A little glimpse at my long gestating creator owned book...

Monster thing

Bored alien

Creator owned

In honour of creator-owned-day here's my awesome creator owned comic. If you want to make this into a movie you're going to have to pay me a lot of money. A lot.

Car guy

Here's a couple of pieces I did recently while messing around on Photoshop.
