So today marks the end of my work on Farscape as I wrap up the final issue. Its been a great 2 and a 1/2 years.

Elizabeth Huntington-Moss

Working away on character designs today for my creator-owned book, Half Past Danger.  This is MI6 Agent Elizabeth Huntington-Moss, one of the female leads. I love the glamourous hairstyles and fashions of the 1940's, and that coupled with my fondness for sexy posh British female spies ala Emma Peel is part of the inspiration for this lady.

CLASSY UPDATE:

Here's the finished inks. The swimsuit was supposed to be underneath a tearaway skirt, as a nod to the likes of Bond removing his wetsuit to reveal a perfectly pressed tuxedo in Goldfinger. Already love drawing this lady.

Stuck for time this week... (and it looks like I'll be stuck for time for the next 3 months), but here's a rough sketch I did. It's a design for a new monster/creature that's tearing through Thunderbolts right now.

WRECKERS FOR SALE

Hey Mick-Lickers. Here's a teaser for a one of two exclusive Last Stand Of The Wrecker-themed art prints I'm working on. I'll be selling the glorious Josh Burcham-coloured version of this and it's companion piece at next week's Auto-Assembly Transformers convention in the Holiday Inn Birmingham from Friday 12th of August. I'll be doing my usual sketching/signing deal, as well as offering original artwork from Infestation and the Transformers Ongoing Series for sale. I'll also have a few copies of my How To Draw Transformers Prime for sale, which is not available on this side of the pond, or through normal bookshops! Nifty, huh?

(I may also be convinced to part with the original line art for these Wreckers prints too. Let's talk...)

I urge you to check out my long-forgotten but soon-to-be-revived blog, nickroche.blogspot.com, some time after the weekend, as the full Wrecker prints will be unveiled over there. You're gonna want one. It really is as simple as that.

A panel from some pages I'm working on at the mo for funsies. This is a pretty good example of how much detail I'll go into with the pencils if it's something that I'm going to ink myself. Not terribly polished, but all the requisite info is there to work from.
