The End of Days...

On the home stretch now with issue 1 of Half Past Danger. I have a couple of pages left to colour before the 2D festival this coming weekend, and then will have the complete extended issue on the ipad there if anybody wants a peek. Hey champs. In London this weekend for that MCM Expo thing (www.londonexpo.com) where I'm hosting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles launch panel at 11.30am Saturday 26th May. I'm chairing the Q & A with Nickelodeon Senior VP (Current Series) Rich Magallanes and TMNT Co-Creator Kevin Eastman. Weird, huh? I'm at table J13 anytime I'm not onstage, so come along and watch me sketch, sign and sell. The bad boy below will be on display too. Wish me luck!

To counteract Mooney and Dec's salvo on old London town, I'm gonna be at the MCM Expo next Saturday (26th) where I have been, for some reason, selected to interview Kevin Eastman on a panel to launch the new TMNT Animated series. Just a quick note to let peoples know that Dec and myself will be in London at the Kapow convention this coming weekend. Dec will be there all weekend and I'll be there saturday evening and all day sunday (as his guest!), both at Table 167 in Artist's Alley. Be sure and pop by if any of ye are aboot. We'll crack wise and generally lark about like performing monkeys for your please-ure.

Dino Colours

Here's the coloured version of a panel I posted a ways back on the Micks blog. LAST STAND OF THE WINDOW LICKERS

Thanks to everyone who popped along to the Wreckers launch in The Book Centre down in Wexford last weekend. Great turn-out, with lots of stock shifted! The support was worthy of an Olympian's jockstrap. Thanks too to anyone who didn't heckle, flick vees or moon at me as I drew this shot of Springer (with ominous Overlord head) in an hour flat on a busy Bank Holiday Wexford Main Street. Apparently the key to drawing quickly, is draw oversized, and have an entire conurbation looming over your shoulder as you work..

HPD Teaser Panel

Here's a panel from an interior page of the first issue of Half Past Danger. I'm about 2 weeks away from finishing the 26-page issue(just some colour-work left), and after that will come the terror sweat of pitching the project to prospective publishers. Yikes.
