Barracuda Obama

Heads-up.
The ACTUAL 100th post, according to our resident den-mother Dec. This guy is the Barracuda, a fantastic villain from Garth Ennis' Punisher series. The artwork on this guy's arc by Goran Parlov is toppedy-notch, Dec and Thompson have been raving about his work for a while now. I felt he was good before, but the stuff on the dedicated Barracuda mini-series is just spectacular.
2D over the weekend was a huge success as the lads have mentioned, and I'd just like to thank Dave and Ciaran and all the lads for inviting us to be a part of it once again. Brilliant con every year, such a unique relaxed vibe all it's own, and a great turn-out on top of it all. The Micks even had their own shambolic panel this year!

Here's to the next 100 posts.

Haven't read that but i'd ignore it. The Garth Ennis arcs were bloody great and the art is or an incredible standard.

I thought of doing Barracuda before man, but drawing a Parlov character is way too intimidating for me. Nice job tho, got the expression just right.

Happy 100th Post! (Deja Vu . . .)

Nice one Mooney.

Actually if you don't count Will's test post of Wolverine I think tomorrow's one is the 100th post. Nice pic, I'm surprised you like Parlov's stuff. Face is spot on alright.

Ah fer cryin out loud... I just went on Dec's comments and surely he's the last word on posts round these parts? I do count Will's test post cos it's a post.
And yeah, I wasn't hugely keen on his earlier stuff, but the Barracuda series was a quantum-leap in terms of quality for me, brilliant stuff. I can see now why ye like him so much.
Not Dec though, not sure what anybody sees in that guy...

Still not read this book yet, despite their being two copies in the house. Having said that, that drawing sure looks like the guy in the funny-book, so Mooney wins. Great face indeed. (The drawing, I mean. Mooney's is passable. As in, I pass it by when I can.)
