Hey did you ever get to meet the actual actors? I remember years ago Reading an interview with Arthur rackham I think it was who was doing a tv tie in for some British series ( saphire and steel?) and he got a few chances to meet joanne lumley and sketch her and all. Stuck in my head as a nice perk to doing tv tie in work .
Eclectic Micks are a collection of Irish professional comic book artists. They include Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger), Stephen Thompson (Star Trek; New Frontier, Presidential Material: John McCain), Len O'Grady (Smoke, Ares) Nick Roche (Transformers, Doctor Who), Will Sliney (Star Wars, Farscape), Bob Byrne (Mr. Amperduke, 2000AD), Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later) and Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells)
Every day there will be a sketch posted here, each artist posting on a certain day. Enjoy

Nice hatch-tastic likeness, m'hearty!
I actually really like the look of it without all the blacks filled in. Really nice.
Looks good like this alright! I like the way the level
of finish tapers off .
Yeah, I'd be perfectly happy to leave it as is, but dunno how the client would take it, might think it doesn't look 'finished'.
