Just finished an A-Team cover, and I knocked up this little fella for the top-corner company logo box, ala the old-skool marvel books(I used to love that teeny bit of extra artwork). He's Col. Hannibal Smith's schlocky alter-ego, The Aquamaniac!
SEXY UPDATE- Wishing a happy birthday to our own Colonel Deckard too, who turns 28(i think?) today.
Eclectic Micks are a collection of Irish professional comic book artists. They include Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger), Stephen Thompson (Star Trek; New Frontier, Presidential Material: John McCain), Len O'Grady (Smoke, Ares) Nick Roche (Transformers, Doctor Who), Will Sliney (Star Wars, Farscape), Bob Byrne (Mr. Amperduke, 2000AD), Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later) and Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells)
Every day there will be a sketch posted here, each artist posting on a certain day. Enjoy
Cool! Oh and happy birthday to Dec!
Oh yeah! Better stick that in the post.
That's brilliant, although it would have been cool to see Liam Neeson in the suit. Was that bit actually from an episode or was it just filmed for the credits?
Haha classic! That will look great on the cover.
Was toying with the idea of putting Neeson in the suit, but wanted it to be more of an homage so stuck with Peppard. They had him in the suit a few times in the episodes I think, or at least mentioned it, it was a running theme that he often starred in these movies to pay the bills.
Heh, ah yeah, i always remember that from the credites. Never remember it from the actual show though. Nice homage Moondog.
(and thanks Fran)
Excellent stuff! I remember that episode.
