Daredevil's a little tough for me as i love the character so i get a bit intimidated drawing him. I spent a while getting comfortable drawing him in my sketchbook. I wanted to show more of his boxing background form Man Without Fear in his costume, hence the boots, cloves, short sleeves and tracksuit waistband.
True story; i pencilled this at a drink and draw but thought it was going well, so waited til i was sober to ink it.
I'm a Daredevil fan so I always like when you do a DD sketch. This is another superb one. I'm hoping you get to do some work on the book at some point.

Awww, look at little Matthew jumping around in his boy shorts
This is such a quintessential Shalvey drawing, it's got all your hallmarks. Interesting composition, chunky blacks. Nice work sir.
That would make a pretty good cover, plenty of room or the logo, plenty of negative space. DD looks absolutely fantastic. Great work. Thanks.
This would definitly make a great cover! Daredevil really works here. I'd love to see ya drawing it for Marvel on a regular basis.
Great job!
Yep, I agree. It's a crime if sooner or later they don't put you on this book. Lovely.
It's super Sale in its simplicity. Do some covers!
Thanks a lot guys; glad ye all like it.

Obviously you should be on the gargle when pencilling at all times so.

I love your dare devil man, I got a gnarly sketch of him years ago! Great work1
Love the movement in this as I think hero pieces should be action based.
Mooney: i'm considering it (hic)
David; as a fello DD fan i'm really glad you like it.
Cheers Kev!
this is awesome. Loving the use of negative space!!!!!!!!!!!
Fine piece of work there! Like your take on the costume, using the boxer roots to full advantage.
That is a great drawing. Captures DD really well.
I think you've found your 'Double-D' style nicely too, DareDec. Top hole.
