Man he's easy to draw fast! Great costume design. I remember when he appeared in the cartoon and since all the xmen comics we had were the ancient reprints we all thought he was cooked up just for the show. Or was he?

Ha, never thought you'd be a Gambit fan Bob. His look absolutely reeks of the 80's, great stuff. He was from the comics originally, designed by the great Jim Lee.
It's the hair that does it. Massive hair.
And don't forget the use of hot pink- nothing says 80's more then hot pink plasma energy. God I feel old.
