Man, Black Cat really enjoys swinging over cities when you draw her. Are you using a 3d model for the background or are you drawing it straight into Manga Studio?
Nah man, no sketch up at all. Infact there is no way Sketchup could handle polycount here. Bcg is a mixture of, 3D studio Max, Illustrator and MangaStudio. Been working on backgrounds over the past few months and reckon I'm about 50 percent there.
Class Will! really lovely drawing. love when artists aren't afraid to use technology to improve their work. ah I remember back in the day when mooney and thompson would spit on me when I mentioned the word digital! how times have changed!

"Will Sliney in 3D background shocker"
Seriously though, i like all the leathery rendering. Looks great.
Hehe, that wasnt a dig by the way earlier, i liked the two tone.
Ah i know, i just couldn't resist.
I can't get over the difference Manga studio has made to your work. Really looking forward to seeing what you'll do with your new Boom stuff.
Awesome. Love the background.
Another nice piece Will, inking again looks strong.
If I were to attempt that background it would literally take me 12 hrs to pencil and ink it.

The BG does have the look of Google Sketch Up.

God, I'd never use a SketchUp model as a finished background, just trace over it to keep everything stylistically the same.
Awesome piece Will. that BG is top notch
Yeah: it's fantastic stuff, Will.
Felicia looks, if you'll forgive the observation, like the sort of lass who has her cellphone set on "Vibrate".
Er. And she's got no pockets in her costume.
And someone's calling her Right Now.
...if you catch my drift.
