Just realised I've never done a Spider-man for the Mick site so here he is. Not a character I ever particularly liked but his costume is a classic. Such a weird, iconic design. Hats off to Ditko.
The earliest on a Thursday Thompson's ever posted? Love the lighting on the upper portion of the body. His head is nearly the size of his thighs, but that doesn't seem to take away from it at all, if anything it echoes the arachnidroots even more.
Yeah, it seems like the upper portions of the figure are a little larger than the lower portions. I'm also with everybody else in that the way you tackled the lighting is really great.
Gorgeous piece. Years ago when i was doing some Marvel samples, I got my female mate to take reference polaroids of me in my underwear in all the usual Spidey poses... just thought it was a relevant story.....kind of wish I hadn't shared now...
wait, you can't say you don't like Spidey, thats just crazy talk Fool! not when you just drew a doozey! next you'll say you don't like the Wren, then I will cry lol

Great stuff. I really like the eerie curve you gave his back

Really nice figure-work as always sir. That neck of his looks mad thick to me though.
I'm a fan of the lighting. A nice simple touch that makes such a difference, but probably would never have occured to me. Thomperiffic.
