I kept thinking of that phenomenal Jim Lee drawing of Piotr form one of the poster inserts in the various X-Men 1 issues, the one by the pool. I think Jubilee was sitting on his arm or something.
Oh definitely, He'd be lean and sinewy as all get-out. Now that you've said it about colossus though, I think you're right, he should be a tad more bulky. As usual, I put zero to no thought into it before I started sticking down lines. Truth be told, I just wanted to draw some shiny arms.
Eclectic Micks are a collection of Irish professional comic book artists. They include Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger), Stephen Thompson (Star Trek; New Frontier, Presidential Material: John McCain), Len O'Grady (Smoke, Ares) Nick Roche (Transformers, Doctor Who), Will Sliney (Star Wars, Farscape), Bob Byrne (Mr. Amperduke, 2000AD), Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later) and Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells)
Every day there will be a sketch posted here, each artist posting on a certain day. Enjoy

Heh, that's good stuff. I like the light, non rendered colouring and the hand drawn lettering is sweet. Looks like the cover to his work out video.
Hence the name

Oh yeah, i think he had the other arm flexed the other way and Jubilee was on his shoulder or something. Good times.
Great drawing. I actually don'T like the hand lettering. See? I can disagree with Thompson now and then.
But when you do you tend to be wrong.
Very true.
Nice one Mooney. Top notch anatomy there. If you were to draw an xbook, is that the build youd give him
I disagree.
Probly Will, why do you think he should be more bulky?
Id do him a lot bigger, but it always depends on the artist. I take it youd do Cyclops in his 'Slim' build?

Shrunk his noggin down a bit to try and make him better proportionately, looks much better for it. Good call Williards.
Yep, better.
I like his shiny head.
Def better, nice one Mooney.
Much improved.
And Lisa likes your shiny head, it seems. Watch out Thompson.
