The first issue of 28 Days Later is out today, and in honour of that event I decided to draw the artist (fellow Mick Declan Shalvey) as a zombie. And yes before somebody says it, I know that they're not really zombies in the 28 Days Later movies.
If Dec were really a zombie hed return to his most instictive roots, i.e. drawing and f@#%ing. Wouldnt be much change there then. Oh hed never eat brains either cz theyre not plain chicken sandwiches. man I could go on with this all day
Eclectic Micks are a collection of Irish professional comic book artists. They include Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger), Stephen Thompson (Star Trek; New Frontier, Presidential Material: John McCain), Len O'Grady (Smoke, Ares) Nick Roche (Transformers, Doctor Who), Will Sliney (Star Wars, Farscape), Bob Byrne (Mr. Amperduke, 2000AD), Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later) and Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells)
Every day there will be a sketch posted here, each artist posting on a certain day. Enjoy

He could eat chicken brains.
He could impress waitresses by eating two brains in one sitting!
All true.
Man, this is class; you should really be drawing a zombie book. VERY good likeness too. I do look like this most days.
I should try find that 'Captain Thompson' drawing i did of you ages back.
Wanna swap jobs?
.......
Nah; I'm good.
Tempting with those Jock/Johnson/JP Leon covers tho.
Screw the covers, is motherfu@#ing John McClaine!
Just as I remember him, except with a lot more clothes on
As is traditional, he's naked from the waist down.
