Punisher Vs Deadpool

Here's a recent commission i've been tipping away on in my spare time for the last few weeks. It was a lot of fun to do, as i've been itching to do a good Punisher piece for ages and Deadpool is a character i've never drawn before. I've posted in-progress stages of the piece on my own blog. Click to see the initial roughs, layout, pencils and inks before i finished it with some grey-wash work, as can be seen above.

Dec.

I've seen that somewhere before ;-) It really turned out great. My brother (the non comic book, art student) was really impressed by the background. In fact, he thought about stealing the piece. It's being gifted this evening.

Deadly background. The moon threw me off till I saw it full size though, thought it was his shield! I read all the punisher max's, cheers for the recommendation.

NIce! Interesting to see you do something so 'finished', if you know what I mean. It's a little more slick than you usually work. Good stuff.

I like this an awful lot. It is a tad slicker and tighter in execution than your usual stuff, but the poses are still dynamic and not at all stilted.
Really, really good.

Ah thanks lads.

Bob, yeah, in retrospect, i probably should have done the exterior line of the moon in grey too. Hope you liked all the Punisher Max books. I love 'em.
