The Power of Love

The best part of this week was researching. In doing so I ended up not only watching all three movie and downloading the soundtrack, but I ended up going out as Marty McFly for Halloween.
Here I am with the Doc

Quality movies one and all. I think I like the second one the best when Marty goes back to 1985 and runs into himself from a day or so previous. As a kid I think I liked the third one the best.

Now I get to pop in Akira for next weeks ref. Quality

Jesus man, you have some amount of spare time!
Great piece altogether, lovely ides and you nailed the drawing and especially the colours. Looks like it could be a bit of wish-fulfilment going on too, is that Marty or Will on the hoverboard?

Classic bit of Will Sliney action there, great stuff. Is that the Sports Almanac in his hand? Shouldn't it be all silver and reflective?

The third was the worst one. Always hated it. One and two were great.

1.21 gigawatts!

If my calculations are correct, as soon as the Delorian hits 88 miles per hour, your gonna see some serious shit!
Crap, I never finished off the Almanac, whoops.
Loved the third one as a kid, especially Seamus McFly

I was always confused as to why Seamus looked like Marty and Seamus's wife looked like Marty's mom. Doesn't that mean he's inbred?

This is outstanding Will. From the best trilogy ever made.

The composition and coloring on this is totally amazing!

That's heavy.......

"Why are things so Heavy in the future?"

'Is there a problem with the earth's gravitational pull?'

I've just realised that as pretty as this is, Will, Hoverboards can only hover over a surface, not fly.
So congratulations, you've just killed Marty McFly.

At the end of 3 doesn't Doc pretty much fly off with Clara on the Hover board after he rescues her from the train?

Will Sliney said...

Hmmm, I always figured they just hovered off into the sunset, like a real cowboy

Stephen Mooney said...

Well they shouldn't have, goddammit.

Actually, it was a temporal feedback from the explosion of the train yet to happen that carries Doc and Clara away on a shockwave.

Obviously.

This is fucking great, Will. What a great piece to have under your belt.
