I think this is my first repeat character on the Micks blog, Conan. I thought I'd Christmas it up a notch and do a snowy scene, although in retrospect that's probably not the most suitable outfit for the weather.
I love the expression on his face. But before you go and write off his clothing keep in mind that he's a barbarian. He's from the frozen north. The only things he needs to warm his body are the blood of his enemies and a woman in his bed.
Eclectic Micks are a collection of Irish professional comic book artists. They include Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger), Stephen Thompson (Star Trek; New Frontier, Presidential Material: John McCain), Len O'Grady (Smoke, Ares) Nick Roche (Transformers, Doctor Who), Will Sliney (Star Wars, Farscape), Bob Byrne (Mr. Amperduke, 2000AD), Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later) and Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells)
Every day there will be a sketch posted here, each artist posting on a certain day. Enjoy

Lovely. Great job
This is great, very old-skool Thompson.
Isn't snow just the best...
Lovely stuff Thompson
very nice thompson.he looks like he's just got a snowflake in his eye and is surprised by it!
Yeah he's just about to stab himself in the face accidentally, trying to get it out.
I like the Scott Williams-y rendering on his right arm/torso. Really like the blocky rendering on the shield though.
